We're expecting up to 40 inches or more between now and Tuesday. Apparently the same storm is to visit us three times. It would be nice if it was three or four manageable amounts but I doubt it.
I don't know what time it began today - at least by 10.00 am - but I've already been out twice this afternoon to clear what had accumulated. I think more has fallen in the two and a half hours since I cleared the first time, than fell in the first 3 or 4 hours.
I'll need to do it again later and, if it keeps up, again before bed time to avoid the sort of amount that would defeat me tomorrow.
