Anyone but England

Enjoyable blog in The Guardian today about the attitude of many Scots towards England when it comes to sports, particularly football.

Of course it drew the typical comments from so many of the self loathing hand wringing types, so common among the readership who seem to think that England is the only country in the world whose citizens like to support their teams and that support of the England football team implies support of foreign and economic policy as well as shameful incidents from the dim and distant past.
