Snow again

Not likely to be as much as originally predicted but there's going to be quite a bit of snow today. Schools are closed...so there's two noisy teenagers here today, what with the house guest. Was I like that at their age?

    More than likely.
    I know that at the age of 17 back in 1970
    I was an apprentice earning 10 pounds a week and the landlady got a fiver and smokes and pints got the rest

    £10 a week in 1970???

    My starting wage was just under that in 1973.
